Paul’s role as Research and Analysis Lead involves management of the forthcoming report on emerging infection disease R&D and shaping the written content of the annual G-FINDER report.
Paul has nine years’ experience as a health economist, which has included work with the United Kingdom’s Office of Health Economics, Deloitte Access Economics, and most recently a role as the senior health economist for the Royal Life Saving Society. His work in the health care sector has focused on the pharmaceutical industry, drowning prevention and epidemiology, and valuation of health care interventions.
Earlier in his career, Paul worked in project finance and construction contracting with a major Australian law firm, assisting in the creation of legal and financial structures underlying large infrastructure projects. Paul also worked as a freelance information technology journalist and provided advice to the UK Charities Aid Foundation on prioritisation of corporate philanthropic spending.
