About

Gideon graduated with his MSc in Community and Population Health Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan. He has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan with the COVID-19 Evidence Support and Knowledge Synthesis team in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and the Knowledge Synthesis Application Unit (KSAU) at the University of Ottawa where he worked on the living evidence review on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness and variants of concern. He is currently doing his PhD in Clinical Trials and Methodology at the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology, University College London. His research focuses on developing a core outcome set (COS) for severe malarial treatment Trials. His research interests include global health equity, infectious disease epidemiology (pathogen genomics and vaccination), health policy, and evidence synthesis.
