Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. His undergraduate research focused on awareness and uptake of contraceptives among women of childbearing age, and he is currently licensed to practice in Nigeria.
Kevin started his career in clinical research as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Investigator for a clinical trial for a new and promising Lassa fever treatment, while actively involved with case management. He also coordinated and monitored other research projects including an observational cohort study for the same disease. He was also very instrumental in the design, applying for funding, and planning of a platform trial for further Lassa fever therapeutics where he currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Board.
Kevin is concluding his Master of Clinical Research: International Health Track at the University of Barcelona, where he is working to describe the trajectory of Acute Kidney Injury/Failure in patients with Lassa fever.
