Michelle has a strong health background and contributes to pipeline projects as a research assistant for Policy Cures Research.

Michelle served over twenty years as an Army Officer in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). In 2001, she deployed to East Timor and worked within a treatment team providing health support to ADF, United Nations, and other allied forces. A pharmacist by profession, Michelle’s other roles included strategic-level logistics, governance, clinical, and policy positions in the ADF. In 2023, Michelle completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney and made the move to the Australian community sector.
