Sabastine leads Impact Global Health’s research and analysis portfolio related to the biomedical product development landscape across neglected diseases, emerging infectious diseases, and sexual and reproductive health. His team is comprised of dedicated and exceptional scientists, biomedical, economics, and public health professionals who rigorously analyse the global landscape of R&D funding in global health.

Sabastine draws on his background as a physician specialising in family medicine with an interest in infectious diseases. He joined Impact Global Health after working previously at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) in Nairobi, Kenya, Doctoral Researcher at the Global Health Policy Unit, University of Edinburgh, UK and Project Director, HIV/AIDS programme at the Nigerian National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA).
